Help with my Metro PCS issue

I wanted to switch carriers to MetroPCS and when I looked up on line Metro PCS website to see if my phone and current carrier were compatible, the compatibility checker said in green letters "success!". So i went down to two different Metro PCS here in my town and they looked up and said that they could not guarantee that my phone would work since metro is on CDMA and my carrier is on GSM!!! I have wasted a whole day to find this out and I really think that you need to re-do your website since this false advertising!
GetHuman-cyurek did not yet indicate what Metro PCS should do to make this right.

Nothing was really resolved other than I am not able to go to MetroPCS because of the GSM system they are on verses what my current carrier is, they do not mix and I am not going to purchase another phone just to change since I just purchased my new phone this year in March. UGH!
