While it isn't possible to make a payment arrangement with MetroPCS, other options are available that can help, if you are unable to make your monthly payment.

One option is to get a brief extension on your bill, another is to change your billing due date to a later time, and the final option is to get a bill float payment, which is explained in further detail below.

How to Get an Extension or Change the Due Date of your MetroPCS Bill

To get an extension on your MetroPCS phone bill, or change your due date to a later time, you must wait until your account is suspended then speak to a customer service agent. The support representatives at MetroPCS are professional, helpful, and can assist you. However, they will only give you an extension for 48 hours.

Other Payment Options with MetroPCS

Bill float is a micro-credit provider that can help those who are unable to make a payment of certain monthly bills. If you are behind in making your payment to MetroPCS, and already called to get an extension, but were not able to, then you can apply for a bill float payment. To do this, visit the Bill float website, by logging into your MetroPCS account and selecting "payment options" then choosing "Bill float payment". Once on the site, select your service provider, and then add the amount you need to pay for your bill. If approved, Bill float will pay the bill and then will give you 30 days to pay them back. However, using such, a service does not come free; you will have to pay a fee for the service that may cost $10 for an $80 bill.

Payments and Late Fees

MetroPCS provides a pay-in-advance service. To avoid service termination and disruption of your service, pay your bill on or before the monthly due date, which is the beginning of your service cycle. Monthly service cycles are 30 days long but can fluctuate from time to time.

If your phone service is suspended, you will be required to pay overdue charges and late fees in order to turn your service back on. MetroPCS offers you a fast and convenient way to pay your bill each month with automatic bill pay.

By authorizing recurring payments on your monthly bill and providing your credit card information, funds are automatically withdrawn directly from your account each month up to 5 days before your due date. This will ensure your bill is always paid on time.
