Want the old att number ***-***-**** that have had for ** years *re-activated in order to have it ported over to Charter Monday *-**. I canceled all * Uverse services Monday *-* but no one told me that the landline had to be active in order to port over. All Att equipment still plugged into system and lit up so only need to switch it back to activate at your main computer where it was inactivated from in the first place without having to come out to rewire, etc. (It is all still hooked up) I did go back right after I cancelled Att and tried to have them reactivate the landline and the internet voip so it could be ported over but even though I explained that my wife was an invalid and without that phone she has no way of contacting *** in an emergency I have got nothing but "one big left hand*right hand runaround". Then they wonder why I canceled their service. I talked to a supposed supervisor "Ivy" at noon Thursday *-** and she was going check to see if you could activate now temporarily until Monday *-** for the port over and call back in an hour with answer on this temporary cell phone ***-***-****. BUT... that was ** hours ago and as typical ATT action, there has been no return call as she swore she would do. PLEASE ADVISE....
