While watching the news, there was a program error that suddenly changed my location on the TV to the Montgomery/Selma area. I was prompted with three options to select: I live here, I’m here temporarily, or I’m somewhere else. As a new customer, I had a frustrating experience trying to set up my DirecTV streaming service. Despite receiving the box, I encountered issues with my username. After an unsuccessful 1.5 hours with customer support, I was promised a call back before 8 am, only to realize the service was closed. I still lack service, and with my elderly mother needing entertainment, this has been challenging. In the past, I swore off AT&T, and this experience affirms my hesitation. I urgently need a resolution today. Otherwise, I will cancel everything and request the technician revert the setup.

I am interested in migrating my service from AT&T to a government provider. I have been with AT&T for some time now. Unfortunately, one of my devices has malfunctioned, and despite my attempts to repair it, it remains unusable. In light of the expenses incurred, I have opted to utilize my spare phone, currently linked to AT&T. I aim to unlock this device to insert my government SIM card for continued service use, as acquiring a new phone is not feasible and this one is in impeccable condition. Given that it has already been paid for, repurposing it seems like a sensible choice.

I have a letter and proof that I was on the ACP program for AT&T home internet service. I was disqualified because I didn't submit my document information to the ACP program. Now, I have a $[redacted] high bill for my AT&T home internet service that I am unable to pay. I purchased my friend's iPhone 7+ with the understanding that it was unlocked, only to discover in Rome that it was not. Both my friend and I attempted to resolve this issue, but due to the phone being registered in his wife's name and now associated with me, we have been unsuccessful. I am attempting to return my Cell Booster, but I missed the 14-day return window. I visited the store five days after the return period ended, as I wasn't aware of the policy. The booster doesn't work effectively at my home, and I had to purchase it in desperation. I feel disappointed that I am only being offered a 50% refund for an unused item in its original packaging. I recently received a bill from AT&T regarding an overdue long-distance account. I do not have an account with AT&T, and I am seeking clarification. I have attempted to contact the number provided on the bill, but it leads to an automated system prompting me to pay the bill, a step I am hesitant to take without understanding the situation. My primary phone service is with Century Link, and my cellular service is through Consumer Cellular. The account number listed on the bill, [redacted]P, is associated with my landline, not my long-distance calls, which I exclusively make through my cell phone. I have not been an AT&T customer or received a bill from them in a decade.
