There is a pending charge on my bank account for $**.**. We have no subscriptions to Amazon Prime to cancel. My bank account overdrafted for this charge. I would like to identify the reason for this charge and to find out how I can discontinue any future charges of this nature. Thank you.

I called the customer service phone number for Amazon. I answered, "Amazon Prime" at the voice prompt. I was immediately transferred to a representative. She asked for my name, email, and billing address. We discovered the charge was a subscription payment for Amazon Prime that was coming from my boyfriend's Amazon account after his free trial had expired. We explained we wanted to discontinue the Amazon Prime subscription. She verified his information and she immediately canceled the subscription and refunded the $**.**. Thanks for making that easy and painless Amazon!
