People who want to sign up for Amazon Prime have many different ways that they can do this. You can sign up by visiting Amazon Prime online and selecting the signup icon or you can download the app and sign up through the app. You may also be able to call Amazon customer service and sign up or get instructions on how to complete the signup process.
The Signup Process
Signing up for an Amazon Prime account is relatively simple. Even people who already have an Amazon account can sign up for Prime. You will have the option to sign up by selecting an email and creating a password for your account if you don't already have an Amazon account. If you already have an Amazon account, you can signup for Prime by simply logging into your account. Once you log into your account, you'll still have the option to signup for Prime. You can select this option to sign up for Prime and pay additional fees that are part of the membership. Your Prime membership is effective/active as soon as you signup and pays the fees.
Visit Amazon Prime or Download the App
Once you visit the Amazon website, you'll see an option to sign up for Amazon Prime. You will be prompted to pay for it at the time of sign up. If you already have an Amazon account, you can still sign up for Amazon Prime by selecting the option for Prime membership once you log into your account. Regardless of whether you have an Amazon account or not, you still have the option to sign up for Prime. You can use the same process to sign up for Prime by downloading the app and accessing Amazon through the app. The app will also give you the option of signing up for Prime. If you already have an Amazon account, you can still sign up for Prime through the app.
Other Details...
Amazon will prompt you for payment information and you will be required to pay for your membership at the time of signup. You will be billed on the same day every month. If you already have an Amazon account you will use the same email to login. The only difference will be that your account status will move from an Amazon account to an Amazon Prime account.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
