Visit the Amazon website.
Scroll all the way down on the homepage until you find the "Customer Service" link. It's in white lettering below "Information about the FTC Prime settlement."
Click on the "Customer Service" link, which will take you to the Amazon "Help" page.
Locate the horizontal search bar towards the top of the "Help" page. It says "Search Help" and has a magnifying glass icon to its left. It's directly below "Search Help" in bold lettering.
Click on the search box. This will cause the cursor to blink and your phone's keyboard to appear.
After clicking on the search bar, type "Cancel prime," then press the search button on your phone's keyboard.
Scroll down and browse through the search results until you find one relevant to your situation. In this case, look for the link that says "Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership."
Click on the "Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership" link. Doing so will take you to a page of the same name.
Read the "Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership" page. It offers information about how to cancel the membership and a link you can use to start the process.
Follow the instructions on the "Cancel Your Amazon Prime Membership" page. Make sure you're already logged in to your Amazon account. If you need further assistance, please move on to the next step.
If you weren't able to cancel your Amazon Prime membership on your own or you have questions about the process, you can reach out to Amazon customer support. A representative can provide answers and guide you through canceling your membership, if necessary.
Make sure to give them all the relevant information, including what you've already tried doing to cancel your Prime membership.
Once you go through the steps of canceling your Prime membership, double-check your account to make sure it was actually canceled. You should also check your email associated with your Amazon account, as you'll likely receive a cancellation email that serves as confirmation.
Amazon makes it easy to cancel your Prime membership if you want to do so. You can do everything right through the website, but you can also reach out to its customer support team if you need to.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
