I was trying to connect to Netflix, because sales told me DTV was able to connect to Netflix. ... Trouble with new installation.*Installer did not want to run a new cable, so he told me buying a wireless system would be cheaper than his labor to run a new cable. Charges for wireless $*** , no such thing as free installation. Because of this the main tv box was placed to far from internet modem. TV box could not connect.
I was a new customer and had ** days to cancel contract after install . Of course they don't tell you that.
Threatening to use the ** day cancellation worked. DTV sent a serviceman from DTV who actually worked for DTV. They ran a new cable and connected to the modem. The fix took ** minutes. And could have saved me $***. Be careful with what subcontractors tell you.
New customer and I expected what they promised.
Promblems was fixed. I though DTV might be a little different, but their not. Wish I had never dealt with Direct TV.
