DirecTV/AT&T makes it easy for customers to make changes to their payment arrangements. Aside from calling customer service, payment arrangements can be made online by the customer. Customers also have the option to cancel a payment arrangement as well. All it requires is following the steps outlined by DirecTV.

Online Payment Changes

Customers can make changes to their scheduled DirectTV/AT&T payment by going online and selecting myAT&T. Navigate to billing and payment and select view my bill. Next, you'll have the option to change a scheduled payment by selecting payments to change. You'll have the option to change the payment date, amount, and payment type. These changes must be made before the payment due date, however.

Make Changes through the App

Customers can also follow the same steps to make changes to their payment arrangements by using the DirecTV/AT&Tapp. This is convenience on the go. Customers can make these changes even when they are out and about by simply using their smartphone to make any changes.

Payment Changes through Customer Service

Customers can also utilize the customer service line to make changes to their payment arrangements. Customer service representatives can make a note and change details, dates, and amounts in regards to a payment arrangement.

Autopay

You also have the option to pause or discontinue autopay which is another way of changing or canceling a payment. YOu can go online and select and save the option to either pause or discontinue your autopay settings.

Canceling a Payment Arrangement

Customers who need to cancel a payment must do so at least one day before the scheduled payment is due. This can be accomplished by going online and canceling the scheduled payment at least a day before it's supposed to post. However, keep in mind that any payments scheduled after your original due date can't be canceled or altered.

Request an Extension

Customers can also request an extension via telephone, customer service, or online. Online, simply select I need a payment extension and follow the prompts to confirm a payment extension.
