DSL internet service is constantly dropping. Has been happening for over a week. Verizon says it's a problem at the "central office." Still not fixed and this is the *th day. They constantly call back to see if I am "satisfied with the customer service" but don't fix the problem.

After calling *-***-***-**** three times and getting three different answers from the customer service operators ("there's a problem at our central station, you need a new modem, there's a problem with the filter on the line) I finally told them I saw a loose wire on the pole and they needed to send a tech out to the house (it had been hanging for a while and our weather has been very windy). One was dispatched and fixed the issue today by running a new line. He was wonderful. The call center not so much. BTW the second operator said he'd send a new modem and "was $** OK?". I said absolutely not. "Oh, OK, my manager says it's for free". Yeah, ya think? So we're back up and running, but not so much from the call center's help.
