Landline and Internet turned off due to my unwillingness to switch to FIOS NOW and my being a pain in the neck. Have had ** months of frequently recurring phone& net problems. I had agreed to FIOS after being threatened with termination of service but then wanted to postpone FIOS till after New Years but they wouldn’t agree. One day after *I was argumentative on phone my phone and internet were turned off even though day before a supervisor had assured me they would never threaten a customer or single one out for retribution. I thought we agreed that there would be advance notice of any termination and if such happened it would only be in due course. Next day they just disconnected phone and abt * hrs later Internet. Ver. makes it sound as if they are in neighborhood switching everyone to FIOS. Not true and they won’t disclose number of houses in my townhouse community that have FIOS. I’m female living alone, turned ** yesterday - the day they shut off phone, am retired military, have been customer since last century, and always pay bills on time. If I were last customer with copper wire in our townhouse development I would understand but I’m not and it is deceitful to imply otherwise. Thanks for your attention. *(I think Ver. has given me PTSD. )
