On June **, **** I purchased a toilet online from Walmart.com ( Order number: *******-******). I quickly realized that it was not the item I needed and I contacted Walmart to cancel the order. I was told I needed to contact We The People because they were the outside vendor fulfilling the order, but that I was well within the time needed to cancel. So I did. *We The People told me that they had already begun processing the order so it couldn’t be cancelled but that I could refuse delivery when it arrived. Unfortunately, it was delivered to my porch when I was at work so I couldn’t refuse it.*I got an email from Essential Hardware telling me that I needed to ship the toilet to them in Georgia for my refund. Note, this is a different company than We The People and their message went to my Junk box for several days before I realized what it was. When I replied to try to get a pre-paid shipping label, I got a reply from yet a different address*company, Ebay Customer Support (*****@***.com), informing me that I am responsible for shipping it back to them. I was not a friendly email and certainly not in the tone I’m used to from Wal-Mart.*Please keep in mind that this toilet is still on my porch, unopened, in * boxes weighing a total of *** lbs. Shipping it as an individual to Georgia would cost nearly as much as I paid for the item. *On July ** I called Walmart customer service to see what could be done and they said they would send a note to the vendor (which of the * involved I’m not sure) and they would call me. They have not. *I am very disappointed in Wal-Mart and its multiple vendors through this experience. When I shop at Wal-Mart I expect good service and easy returns, as I have gotten for decades. *I hope you can do something to help remedy this situation. I am happy to take the item to a local Wal-Mart if that would help. At least a store could ship it back to the vendor at much less cost than if I do it.*Thank you,*Spike Bradford****-***-****

Writing a measured email to *****@***.com. They were very responsive and took control of the issue that their outside vendors would not. They gave me a full refund.
