However, online shopping can sometimes present a myriad of challenges, and you can be left feeling bitter and regretting your decision of shopping at Walmart if you don't know what you're supposed to do.

So, how can you get help when there is a problem with your Walmart order? Read on to find out everything that you need to know.

Your Walmart Order Is Missing Parts/ Items

Have you ordered something from Walmart and upon receipt you discover that your order is missing some items? Well, the first thing you need to do is to check to see whether your order was split into several shipments with varying arrival dates.

If you don't know how to do this, make sure that you contact Walmart customer service and someone will gladly help you. Once you confirm that your order wasn't split into multiple shipments, you can request a replacement online. Follow these simple steps to request a product replacement on Walmart:

  1. Sign into your Walmart account
  2. Locate the exact order that has missing items under "My Account" settings.
  3. Once you locate the order, click/tap on it to "See Details."
  4. Proceed and select "Start Return" to initiate the return process.
  5. Check the item (s) that you want to return and once you're sure, proceed to the next steps.
  6. When prompted to give reasons why you want to return the Item, select "Missing Parts."
  7. Go ahead and select "Replacement" and click/tap on "Continue."
  8. Take time to review the details and make sure that everything is right before you proceed to click on "Continue" again.
  9. Once you are sure that everything is okay, and you have provided all the information possible, click/tap on "Finish."
  10. Click on "Print the Return Label" button, and you are good to go.
  11. After you have completed the online process, box up all the accessories that came with the order in the original Walmart packaging.
  12. Blackout or remove any existing barcodes or labels on the box that you are using to return the order and attach a new label.
  13. Take your package to a USPS office or FedEx office.

Walmart recommends that you make sure that you insure each order before you ship it. You should also keep in mind that the retail store doesn't provide replacement or refund for items that go missing during shipping.

Once you return your order, allow up to three weeks for Walmart to process your order. Once your request is processed, Walmart will either send a product replacement or refund your original payment method.
