The caller ID and the directory for stored numbers (that we call, not those who called us) no longer work. The caller ID appears on the TV screen but not on the phone. We put in all new batteries for the phone but to no avail. I did call about this and was told a technician could come out for a charge but I do not feel we should be charged. I was also told to disconnect something and then reconnect it but the box they are talking about is apparently under my desk in our office and since I am almost ** yrs old I am not about to crawl around under this desk. We do pay for caller ID on our phone bill. Can you help?
