The issue in GetHuman1028035's own words
Find an app or other means of identifying voicemails that are made to my phone *. Voicemail is NOT listed in current apps, however voicemail is activated and functioning. ... I would like to add a voicemail app to my Samsung S* phone. Can you help me? It is not listed in Notifications. Phone has been updated as well as PRL updated. Voicemail is active but does not show any icon after VM is left by callers.
I would only be notified of a missed call* no way to know if a voicemail was left by caller unless I actually called my Voicemail by depressing "*" on my phone keypad to contact voicemail. Frustrating because not all callers leave a voicemail, so I am adding to my minutes used unnecessarily.

GetHuman1028035 did not yet indicate what Sprint should do to make this right.

I've been a Sprint customer for many years via Credo. Credo's only option was to do a factory reset, but this is an extreme measure if all else fails.
