Sprint is a telecommunications company based in Kansas, USA. The company has origins to the Brown Telephone Company that was founded in 1899. Sprint is the parent company of several subsidiaries such as Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA, and Open Network. The organization offers mobile wireless and Internet services to its customers. If you are considering joining Sprint and need to check if the service is available in your area, follow these simple steps.

Check Sprint Coverage Online

Sprint has coverage across the world. Check if your area is serviced online by:

  1. Going to https://coverage.sprint.com/IMPACT.jsp?
  2. Enter your address
  3. You'll be shown coverage details for your address. The coverage will display as 4G LTE Excellent Signal or Non-LTE. If your service area is showing up as Non-LTE, the coverage may be weak and you probably shouldn't use Sprint for your service area.

Call Into Sprint Customer Service

If the online map isn't working for you, or you have some questions about the information, you can call into Sprint's Customer Service line. Provide your address to the customer service representative and ask if there's coverage in your area. If there is coverage, make sure to ask if it's 4G LTE Excellent Signal or Non-LTE.

Connect with Sprint Customer Service Via Live Chat

If you prefer not to call in, you can also use the live chat to connect with Sprint's customer service. Provide your address and ask about coverage in the area. If there is coverage, make sure to ask if it's 4G LTE Excellent Signal or Non-LTE.

Visit Sprint Retail Location

You can visit a nearby Sprint retail location to ask about coverage. When you visit a store in person, you can also ask about the quality of the coverage (4G LTE Excellent Signal or Non-LTE.).

  1. Go to https://storelocator.sprint.com/locator/
  2. Enter your street, city, state, and/or ZIP.
  3. Select the radius you want, starting with 10 miles.
  4. Make sure the ‘All stores and services near me' box is checked.
  5. Click on ‘Find Stores.'
  6. Find a retail location near you that is convenient to visit. Click on the store to view the business hours. Plan a visit when the store is open.
  7. You can click ‘Get Directions' to view how to get to the store.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Sprint Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Sprint in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Check If Sprint Service Is Available in My Area? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible.
