My name is Teresa Bourland & I am sending this complaint in regards to one of your senior representatives who works at the call center at your headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. I had the displeasure of speaking with "Kaira" regarding an ongoing dispute about Target sending solicitation emails to my personal cell phone, which I NEVER gave Target permission to do. I emailed target customer service through my phone one day, using my text message to send an email to them. Target then used my cell phone number off of that email & took it upon themselves to sign me up for solicitation emails which I have been receiving for several months, with no relief of getting the messages to stop!*** I've tried opening the texts to opt out of them & there is no option to do so!** I've tried on * different occasions to reply "STOP" to the messages & target keeps sending them!** I've called * times since Dec. *st, **** asking for my cell * to be removed & I STILL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE EMAILS EVERYDAY!!**I've called so many times that I have received case *'s for each call I've made, I've talked to * different representatives in addition to the * "senior representatives" I was transferred to & I have been told every single time I call target that my number has been removed from their solicitation emails & I STILL GET THEM EVERYDAY!! I've been told to wait up to * weeks for my number to be removed, then I was told it could take an additional ** days for my inquiry to go through, then I was told to wait ** hours because this could be a problem with the IT department & yesterday I was told after my *nd call it could take up to ** days before I stop receiving the texts. Yesterday (*******) I had to call TWICE because I was HUNG UP ON by one of your unprofessional "senior representatives" by the name of Kaira. **The first unprofessional thing Kaira did was BLAME ME for the texts that target sends me everyday that I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR. She wanted my email address which I REFUSED to give her. I explained that target has abused my personal cell * so I would not give her my email address. Kaira said that I could not have my CELL NUMBER removed unless I gave her my email address. That doesn't even make any sense because target didn't need my email address to take it upon themselves to use my phone * to sign me up for solicitation emails which I NEVER CONSENTED TO so why would they need my email address to remove my CELL * from junk emails?? So I told your unprofessional representative that target already had my email address on file from a previous phone call I made asking for them to stop sending their emails to my phone. I was extremely angry that your representative would even blame me for something I have no control over. **Kaira said she would give me a case * & I told her I didn't want another case * because if I had a nickel for every case * I've been given, I'd be a rich girl & that's when she so RUDELY HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I'm the CUSTOMER who's personal phone * has been abused by target. I'm the customer who's made * phone calls in the past * months & I'm the one who gets told by all your representatives that this matter will be taken care of & NEVER GETS RESOLVED!! But your "senior" representative by the name of Kaira has the audacity to not only BLAME me for the incompetence of target failing to repeatedly remove my cell * from solicitation emails but she also has the audacity to HANG UP ON ME for getting angry!! You can't expect me to not be angry after I've called over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over & over. I used the word "over" for each phone call I've made. I was never abusive or demeaning with my language to merit being hung up on. I was certainly angry because I was not being HEARD about how this process is FAILING me but never abusive towards Kaira. **Kaira's behavior speaks volumes about how I've been treated throughout this entire process. ALL I WANT is to STOP getting junk from target everyday sent to my personal cell *. If she doesn't have the patience & professionalism to deal with customers who get upset about the lack of assistance they are getting, then why do you have her handling phone calls? Don't forget that she is a representative of your COMPANY. I've talked to ** representatives (* of which were "senior representatives") & I've never been hung up on by any of them except Kaira. She has caused me to further have to waste my time by calling back to file a complaint about how I was treated & now I'm having to spend time typing up this email because I will see to it that my complaint gets heard. **And you can thank Kaira for the NEGATIVE YELP review I am giving target. Kaira had my cell * & could have called me back if the line "accidently" got disconnected & she did not. So don't use some creative language with me as if it was a "misunderstanding" or that we got "disconnected". Kaira was RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL by her own choice!! And don't worry, I did call back not only to file a complaint but to also get the case * (********). **At what point do you realize after * months & * phone calls that this process of removing my cell phone * IS NOT WORKING? At what point do your representatives LISTEN TO MY COMPLAINTS about how this process of me calling, collecting case *'s & waiting different lengths of time is not serving me? At what point does target stop repeating the same process & try something DIFFERENT when I call to help remove my cell phone * ***-***-**** from *****@***.com & *****@***.com??**I will not stop calling until I STOP receiving emails from target that are sent to my text message. And if I ever come across Kaira over the phone again, I will demand to speak to someone who can behave in a professional manner & if she refuses, I will file a another complaint publicly with YELP & target. She was unprofessional enough to hang up on me so I wouldn't put it past her to refuse to let me speak to someone who can behave in a professional manner since she clearly lacks the skills to do so. I don't appreciate your representative shoving me off to a dial tone because she can't handle a customer who's angry that she's had to make * phone calls, then a *th since she got pissed off & hung up on me! If she can't handle ONE phone call, why don't you inform her that I've had to make NINE calls & ask her how she would feel if she was treated the way she treated me!!**Sincerely an unsatisfied redcard holder & customer, Teresa Bourland*************Reply, Reply All or Forward*Send
