If you have purchased something with Target's online order option and realize that you need to cancel part or all of your order then read on. You will learn how you cancel the items if the cancellation window for the order has not passed, and what you can do if it has.
Cancel the Order Using the Target App
Cancel the Order Using Target.com
After following the steps given above, you will receive an email from Target confirming the cancellation. You won't ultimately be charged for any items you canceled, but your account may show a temporary authorization hold until Target has finished processing your cancellation. Your funds will be available again once the hold has been released.
If the Cancellation Window Has Passed
If your order has already been processed for shipping then it is too late to cancel it. However, you can refuse the order once you receive the delivery. When Target receives the refused order, they will process it as a return and send you a refund afterward.
If you have any questions about the cancellation process, you should contact Target's customer service department. It has phone, email, and help desk options.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
