How Do I Check the Balance on My Target Gift Card?
To check your Target gift card balance, go to the gift cards page on Target and scroll to Target GiftCards Help section. Click Check your Balance and enter the gift card number and access number. Both numbers are found on the back of the card. Simply remove the metallic strip on the back of the card to get the numbers or log in to your account.
Target gift cards don't expire, but you can't use them to purchase other gift cards. However, you can use up to 10 gift cards per transaction at any Target store and on their official website. To check your gift card balance, you must have the gift card and access numbers.
Checking the Gift Card Balance
It's easy to check your Target gift card balance. Follow the steps below:
1. Go to Target's gift card page.
2. Scroll to Target Giftcards Help and click Check your Balance.
3. Enter the gift card number and access number.
4. Click Check Balance.

Adding a Gift Card to Your Target Account
You can add gift cards to your Target account as a payment method for your purchases. Below are the steps to add a gift card to your account:
Target.Com:
1. Log in to your account and go to Account/Name.
2. Click Gift Cards and Save a New Gift Card or the plus sign.
3. Enter the gift card number and the access numbers found on the back of the card.
Target App:
1. Log in to your Target account on the app and go to Wallet
2. Go to the Gift Card section and tap Add Gift Card.
3. Enter the gift card number and access number or scan the Target barcode.
How to Reload a Gift Card
If the balance on your gift card isn't enough to cover an entire purchase, you can always reload it at any Target store. However, you cannot reload specialty gift cards for gaming, restaurants and music, or third-party gift cards such as American Express, Visa and Mastercard.
