How Do I Request a Refund to a Gift Card from Target?

If you've received a gift card from Target, you know how convenient it can be to shop there. Did you know that you can request a refund to your Target gift card? Here are the steps to follow if you are a Target customer with its gift card and want to request a refund.

1. Visit the Target Website and Log In to Your Account

Select Sign In. You will receive a prompt to log in with your email address and password. Click Sign In. Choose My Account button in the top right-hand corner of the page. This will take you to your Order History to see your recent online orders from Target. If there is an item that you would like to request a refund for, click on that product.

2. Click My Gift Cards

Choose My Gift Cards from the menu on the left side of the screen. From there, select Manage My Gift Cards. You will see a list with your gift cards. Choose the one you want to request a refund.

3. Select the Reason for Your Refund Request

Click Process Return — this will bring a form where you can specify why you're returning the item(s).

4. Enter the Gift Card PIN and Security Code

Enter the gift card number, PIN and security code of your Target gift card into the appropriate fields. Click My Orders. Select View next to the order for which you'd like to request a refund. Under Order Details, click Refund and submit the request.

5. Check Your Email for a Confirmation Message

Target will review your request and send an email confirmation. If Target has approved your request for a refund on your gift card. You will receive an email confirmation. The amount should be reflected in your account. If you have any questions or concerns, Contact Target customer support.
