Target uses three different shipping companies for its delivery service: FedEx, UPS, and the USPS. If your Target order, shipped by the USPS, is missing, there are a few different things you can try to find it. Read this article to learn more about them.

Check Your Email

Target sends you email updates about the status of your order, especially when something has gone wrong. So the first thing you should do is check your email for one. If you find out something has gone wrong, follow the instruction in the email to fix the problem.

Track Your Package Through the Target Website

You can also track your package on the Target website. Just log into your account and look for your order under Purchases or Order History. Once you locate it, you should see the latest details on the delivery. Please note that details can take up to 24 hours to appear.

You may see a "Fix an issue" link next to your order. This means that your order was deemed undeliverable for some reason. If you do, click on the link and follow the instructions to fix the problem.

Fill Out the USPS Help Request Form

You can also fill out the USPS Help Request Form to report your missing package and initiate a search at the relevant post office or offices for your package. Just follow these instructions:

  1. Go to the USPS Help Request Form page.
  2. Click on the "Where is my package?" option.
  3. Enter the tracking number and the other required information in the text fields provided.
  4. Enter the information requested by the Additional Details popup.
  5. Click on the Next button.
  6. Enter your personal information.
  7. Provide a contact method.
  8. Click on the Finish button.

Contacting Target

If you need additional help from Target, talk to a Target customer service representative. You can do that by phone, email, help forum, or chat.

Contacting the Post Office

If you need more help from the post office, you can reach a representative by phone or via the help forum.
