The Target closest to me had sold out of an item. So online said * in stock at the Target in Port St Lucie FL. A ** minute drive but I wanted the item so I ordered it. Went to pick it up and the clerk gave me another customer's order which I told them was not mine. When they did find my order, they had picked the wrong item. Clerk's quick search said none on floor or in stock. I was annoyed, a ** minute one way drive for nothing. I asked the clerk to process a refund and she said she could not because it was not yet acknowledged in her system and it might be ** hours before it could be refunded. WHAT IS THIS A JOKE? You admit that you gave me the wrong item but I cannot return it. She said I could return it the next day at any Target store and kept saying that the online order is a different company so they had no control or responsibility for the ***** up. She took offence when I let her know that was unacceptable and she told me she was doing everything possible to help me. IN OTHER WORDS NO HELP WAS SOMEHOW HELPING ME. I asked for the manager who acted like she was doing me a big favor allowing a return "without a receipt"? WHAT? They had given me that wrong item minutes ago. This is what you call good Customer Service?
