I had a very nice top of the line Lg phone purchased from Metro pcs store in Port Orange,Fl. It was just off warrantee. A month ago I purchased a memory card from the same store, they installed it there. Right away it caused issues with that phone. Almost immediately it would not let me download pictures and on websites it would stop and say FB has stopped,google has stopped etc etc. Constantly i would have to shut and restart the phone. I finally had to take the memory card out to even make calls and use the phone at all. Two weeks ago a similar msg appeared, "Stopped" no matter what i did including shuttting phone off,taking out the battery, it would not go away. I am a cancer patient and currently in treatment for Breast Cancer and need my phone. Ive had six surgeries and very hard to drive to Metro stores. I explained this to my area stores,cust service etc. I brought the phone to where it was purchaed with the memory card and receipts. They spent many hours over that week trying to fix the problem. I visited * stores including the main branch and as ill as i am and in much pain, i stood for hours while they played around and helped others while trying to get past that frozen msg. Also had many pictures and video in the phone that was needed for a law suit because i was badly burned when i had a double mastectomy, no one knows if they were downloaded to the mem card? The main store told me the only thing they could do was a factory re boot to fix my phone. I didnt want that to happen and waited days trying to fix this issue before i was told it was the only option. So they did a factory re boot. Only to lose everything, spend * more days and hours on end in that store trying to restore my service. They claimed after a week that they could not fix my phone. I am very poor and on disability do to the Cancer and not working but told i needed to buy another phone. Not one store would replace mine even tho it was metros card that ruined it. I had no prior problems before the mem card, sd card. O know i paid * or more hundred dollars for that phone less than *Yrs ago. Im now borrowing an old phone to just keep service on so i can continue my health care. I also called metro customer service last week and was hung up one many times. Still no offer to replace my phone or any help besides a ten dollar credit. At one point i was offered * months of service on this phone but that offer was retracted when after several tries trying to speak to a manager, i was hung up on at least *times again. Forwarded to the LG manufacturer and treated quite poorly by the customer service. After speaking to the manager, who i believe was a lie, it sounded like the same girl i akready spoke to over and over who kept disconnecting my calls. I was offered * month of phone service and a **.credit ? Was told that was all they would do for me even after i stated i had been a faithful Metro customer for ** years. I just wanted my phone replaced. Metro is a million or billion dollar company and i feel if they didnt install a defective sd card i would still have my nice phone. As it turns out it is already causing the same issues with this phone. Ive reported it *times in less than ** minutes, im getting the same messages. Google, fb, metro etc has stopped. Now again its happening even after taking the memory card out no matter what i do. Having to re start and shut down the phone constantly. Im very agry and dissapointed by the way i have been treated. I even tried multiple times today to get on My Metro app and it keeps going back saying to reinstall it, ive done it *times but still throws me out and repeats the same msgs, metro has stopped. This older, cheaper phone is aweful also. Hard to use and very hard on me physically to use after my treatments, surgeries etc. So now im at square one again and going to have to bring it back to the Metro store when i shouldnt even be driving. Im going without eating etc because of gas money driving to Metro Locations everyday to get nowhere and no help. Spent near * hours in your main office here last thursday and the tech couldnt even get my apps or facebook back yet i got it done ** minutes after returning home? As ill as i am i wasnt offered even a place to sit at any of your stores and stood for hours at a time. I know Metro doesnt really care about my illness but i was treated quite poorly and at this point im going to lose this phone also because of the same issues the memory card caused to my nice phone i paid Metro a lot of money for. All the time i was very nice and expected the same treatment abd techs that knew what they were doing. On the second trip to the first of the many trips and *stores. A tech broke the back casing on my phone also trying to remove the back to remove the battery. A big piece is now missing. Im hoping the message helps me in some way. I am about to report this all to the better buisness and attorney generals office. Up until this ive pretty much been satisfied with my years of service with metro.
