You are a Facebook user, and you have your own company for which you have a Facebook business page.However, you don't want your Facebook business page to be linked with your personal account anymore. A Facebook business page needs to be associated with a personal profile, however, it does not have to be your profile.
If you would like to change the profile that is associated with your Facebook business page, here's how.
Choose The Profile You Want To Be Associated:
You cannot run a Facebook business page without a page admin, and the admin for your page must be a registered Facebook account.
The administrator of your business page can be you or another trusted member of your business's team. Talk to the members of your team if you would like them to run your Facebook business account.
Create A New Profile:
If you want to unlink your personal account from your business page, but you would still like to be the adminstrator, you can create a new Facebook profile.
To create a new profile, visit the Facebook homepage, and sign up using a new email address. Doing so will allow you to control your business page, but it will not be linked to your main personal account.
Change The Admin Of Your Business Page:
Once you have decided who will run your Facebook business page and what account to link it to, change the administrator.
To change your administrator, sign in to your business account and click the edit page button at the top of the screen. You can then select admin roles.
Enter The New Admin Details:
If you have successfully navigated to the manage admin roles option, you need to enter the email address of the person you would like to add.
Next, choose the manager option from the admin role drop-down box, and press the save button to secure your changes. For privacy reasons, to save your changes, Facebook will request you to enter your password. Enter the correct password to unlink your personal account from your Facebook business page.
Remove Yourself As Admin:
After adding a new business page admin, you must also remove your personal account from the role of admin.
Click the edit page button at the top of the page again, and then select manage admin roles. This time, find your personal account and select remove. Once again, press the save button, and enter your password to secure your changes.
