Sign in to your Facebook account and open Ads Manager. You can find this option in the left-hand menu just below the Marketplace button. If you don't see it, click See More to expand the menu, then select Ads Manager.
In the left-hand menu, hover your cursor over the notebook icon to expand the available options. Then, select Billing & Payments to manage your Facebook Ad account's payment methods and billing information.
Scroll down to the Payment Methods section to view the payment methods linked to your ads account. You can add multiple debit or credit cards to your account, as well as PayPal, but Facebook will use your default payment method to pay for your ad campaigns.
Planning to change the payment method on your account? You can either remove the existing payment method and add the new one, or simply change the default payment method if you have multiple cards linked to your account.
If you wish to remove an existing payment method, simply click the three dots next to the payment method you want to delete. Then, select Remove from the menu and follow the on-screen instructions to unlink it from your Facebook Ads account.
To add a new payment method, click Add Payment Method. Then, choose your preferred payment option and enter the required payment details. Make sure you enter the correct card details to avoid payment issues. Please note that Facebook may also ask for a one-time code to verify your card. Just follow the prompts to add a new payment method successfully.
If you have multiple payment methods linked to your Facebook Ads account, you can choose which one Facebook uses by default. Scroll to the Payment Methods section, click the three dots next to the payment method you want to use, and then select Set as Default.
After setting a payment method as default, Facebook will use this card for future advertising charges unless you change it again.
Were you able to change the payment method for your Facebook Ads account? You can do this as many times as you want. You can see all of the linked payment methods on the Billing & Payments page. You can also review past transactions and monitor your account spending limit, along with other billing details related to your ad campaigns, on this page. Checking payment information regularly can help prevent payment issues and avoid interruptions to your ads. Do you still have questions about managing payment methods for your Facebook Ads account? GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
