How Do I Get My Suspended Facebook Ads Account Back?

There are usually only two reasons why your Facebook Ads account was suspended: a violation of the company's advertising policies or excessive negative feedback on your ads. You can appeal the suspension, and it may result in you getting your account back. There are also ways you can make your appeal more likely to succeed.

Facebook ads are a great way to increase your business revenue because they're seen by so many people. If your Facebook Ads account has been suspended, you may understandably be panicked. This article will tell you why your account may have been suspended and what you can do to get it back.

Suspension Reason #1: Violation of Advertising Policies

It's possible that one of your ads violated one of Facebook's advertising policies. To find out of this is the case, you can read through Facebook's advertising guidelines to see if you have violated any.

Suspension Reason #2: Excess Negative Feedback

Whenever a Facebook user sees one of your ads, they have the option of reporting it as spam, hiding the ad, hiding all posts from you, and unliking your Facebook page. Doing any of these things generates a single negative feedback report. If you accumulate too many of these, your Facebook Ads account can be suspended.

Ending Your Facebook Ads Suspension

It's not always possible to undo your suspension, but to start the process, follow these instructions:

  1. Go to Facebook Ads Manager.
  2. Look for the red warning bar that contains the message that your Facebook Ads account has been suspended.
  3. Click on the Contact Us link in the warning bar. You will be taken to an appeal form.
  4. Fill out all the fields in the appeal form.
  5. Submit your appeal.
  6. Click on the question mark in the upper right corner of the screen. Although the previous steps have gotten the appeals process started, these next steps will help your appeal succeed.
  7. Click on Help Center. This will launch a chat with Facebook support staff.
  8. Explain your situation to the support staff and ask if there's anything they can do to help.

Contact Facebook for additional help. There are email, phone and chat options available via the link.

Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day.
