I recently upgraded to a Galaxy S* from a Galaxy S*. The Facebook app worked fine on the S*. I have two factor authentication turned on in FB since the latest breach, so not too long. I always did get the code SMS'd to me fine though with the S*. With the S*, the code never gets sent. FB has App permissions on the S* of Phone and SMS. Now it says I have tried too many times for a code reuest. If I could log in, I would prob turn * factor auth off, but I can't log in due to the above. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I cleared the app cache on the phone and updated the app from Google Play, but it did no good.
