I booked my flight with an American Airlines Advantage card for which we always get a free check-on bag up to ** pounds. I went to ORD airport in Chicago & they wanted me to check in on the computer, so I did. When it came time to check my luggage in, it charged me $** & there was an extremely long line to get to the reservation desk. I asked an attendant & she told me there would not be enough time to make my flight & to pay the fee & call American Airlines afterwards for a refund. I thought "fair enough" & did that. My flight number was **** to Phoenix & Santa Fe on January *, ****. I have the receipt, my phone number is **********, and we would like to hear from you as soon as possible. Thanks!
