Have you ever wondered how to send direct deposit ACH payments from your Citizens Bank account? You can use ACH transactions to send money to other banks regularly. You need to know the recipient's name, bank routing and account number.

Here are the steps to send an ACH payment from my Citizens Bank account.

1. Go to Citizens Bank Online Banking

Log into your Online Banking account, and click the Transfers tab. Click Pay ACH, enter the amount you wish to transfer and select your recipient's bank account information.

If you do not have this information, enter the name or business name in the payee field and select Other as the type of account holder from another drop-down list. Click Next.

2. Enter the Amount and Select Your Recipient

Choose the amount of your ACH payment in the Payment Amount field, then select your bank account from which to send it. You can choose any account as a funding source.

3. Choose Your Accounts

You can choose an account you want to use for the payment or select another account if you have multiple accounts with Citizens Bank. Click Pay ACH when you finish entering the required information.

For example, if you want to send a payment from your checking account and the recipient's bank accepts ACH payments from checking accounts, then select Checking Account as the payee.

4. Select a Recipient

After you enter your payment details, choose a recipient. You can enter the recipient's name or the recipient's account number. If you send money to someone with an account at Citizens Bank not listed as an existing payee, you will see them as an option.

Choose the Recipient button to open up a list of available payees. Selecting one from this list will automatically populate the information. Click Save and Continue.

5. Enter Payment Details and Click Make Payment

If you are sending a check, enter the payment amount in the Amount field. If you pay by ACH, enter the amount you want to send in the Payment Amount field.

6. Review Payment Details and Select Submit

Click on Make Payment to confirm your transfers. It will direct you to a page showing your transactions in chronological order. Your ACH payment should appear with its status marked as Sent. If it doesn't, contact Citizens Bank Customer Support for assistance.
