You can choose from weekly or monthly payments. Here are the steps to set up auto payment on a bill with Citizens Bank.

1. Log In to Your Account

When you sign into your account, click View Accounts in the left-side menu. On the accounts page, click Payment Methods in the top menu. This will bring up a list of all your payment methods.

2. Click the Account Services Tab

Once you've logged in to your account, click on the Account Services tab and select Make a Payment. Select Automatic payments. On the next page, you'll have the option to set up a new automatic payment. Choose this option and follow the instructions.

3. Choose the Add Payee Button

Go to the Add a Payee page and click the Add a Payee button. Enter the name of the biller into the text box. Enter your biller's account information on the next page and click Save and Continue.

4. Select Make an Auto Payment

Go to your Citizens Bank account and enter your account login information. Select Bill Pay and choose Auto Payment. Find the bill you want to make an automatic payment on and click on it. Fill out your payee details. Choose a payment frequency of monthly or quarterly. Enter the amount you want to pay.

5. Verify Your Auto Payments

Click My Accounts to verify your bills. From there, choose Verify My Bills and follow the instructions. Select Schedule Payments, and choose the account it will come out of. This will ensure your payments are made on time each month.

6. Autopay Set Up Confirmation

It is important to confirm you set up your autopay correctly. If your bank account and the biller's bank account information do not match, this could lead to a potential service interruption on your biller's end.
