Go to your Activity page and locate the erroneous transaction.

Copy the transaction number, amount, date, and every other piece of information you can see concerning the transaction.

You will need this information with you when you dispute the charge.

Find any documentation you can locate that supports why this charge was not made by you, or why it is higher than it should be.

Call a Simple Mobile customer service representative and tell them about the problem with the transaction and ask for help resolving the problem.

Make sure you write down the name of the representative you talk to and the time of the call, in case you need them for future reference.
The issue may not be resolved during the call itself. That depends entirely on what the problem actually is. However, if it isn't something that can be fixed immediately, Simple Mobile will begin investigating the matter once you've made the call. Once they do, you just have to wait until they finish the investigation. There is no easy way to anticipate how long it will take.
If bringing the matter to Simple Mobile's attention does not resolve the problem, continue with the next step.

Contact your bank or whatever other institute issued the card that was improperly charged, and tell them that you want to initiate a chargeback dispute with Simple Mobile.

There will probably be forms you need to fill out, and you should have all the information you can concerning the transaction with you. Once you begin the chargeback dispute, the bank will begin an investigation of its own. Once it reaches a conclusion, it will let you know. If it finds in your favor, it should remove the charge for you.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of this investigation either, continue with the next step.

Go to the FCC's phone issue complaint page.

FCC phone issue complaint page
The FCC is a branch of the federal government that oversees issues related to phones. It has the power to investigate fraudulent and erroneous charges.

Conclusion

You can call at any time to inquire about how the investigation is going, or to inform them about new findings. The customer service center is open from 8:00 am to 11:45 pm EST from Monday to Sunday.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Simple Mobile Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
