How Come My Simple Mobile Phone Is Not Working?

If your Simple Mobile phone has stopped working, you want to get it going again as quickly as you can. There are a number of different reasons why your phone might not be working, and each of them have a different solution. Try some of the sets of instructions below, and you will most likely have your Simple Mobile phone up and running again in no time.

If Your Phone Isn't Starting Up

1. Try starting your phone again.
2. If that doesn't work, turn the power off.
3. Remove the cover from the battery compartment.
4. Remove the battery.
5. Wait for at least 60 seconds, and then replace the battery.
6. Replace the cover of the battery compartment.
7. Try turning the phone on again.

If this doesn't work, then you are going to need to bring your phone in for servicing, because there is most likely something physically wrong with it. Contact Simple Mobile to find out where to take it. You can find their contact information here.

If Your Phone Is Starting Up

1. The first thing to do is see if you have simply run out of minutes.
2. If you have, then go to Simple Mobile's home page.
3. Click on the Log In link in the upper right corner and log in to your account.
4. Click on the Reup link in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
5. If you intend to pay with a credit or debit card, enter your phone or SIM card number in the text field on the left side of the page, then click on the Pay Now button. If you intend to pay with a Service Plan card, enter your phone or SIM card number in the upper text field on the right side of the page and the plan card number in the lower text field on the right, then click on the Add Service Plan button.
6. Fill out the required information in the text fields provided, and submit the form. Your phone should work again. There may be a brief delay while the system is updated with the new information.

If You Weren't Out of Minutes

1. Go to Simple Mobile's Down Detector website. You can find it here: https://downdetector.com/status/simple-mobile/
2. Look at the graph titled "Simple Mobile problems last 24 hours." If you see a problem listed there that has not been resolved, this could be the source of your problem. If there are any instructions from Simple Mobile, follow them.
3. If you do not see anything here that could explain your problem then click on the "I have a problem with Simple Mobile" button.
4. Fill out the required text fields and submit your problem report. Simple Mobile will contact you with additional information.
