My purse was stolen on Oct *,****. Phone had Lyft billing info stored on phone so that"I" could call for a ride quickly. Evidently the thief used this feature to book a ride -- even though the bank account was closed. Theif got a ride. Driver got screwed.
GetHuman1323142 did not yet indicate what Lyft should do to make this right.

My purse and phone were stolen on a Thursday afternoon, Horrible experience. I got to the bank two hours later, but my checking account (debit card) was wiped out. Account was closed. Three days later someone used my Uber app to call a ride. My account was charged but rejected. I don't know if the thief got a free ride or not but I was not charged. All automatic, I did nothing in the process. Hope the driver got paid.
