Lyft gift cards are available in the amounts of $25-$100 and the recipient can use this card for all Lyft rides in the country. Below are the detailed steps to sending someone a Lyft digital gift card:

1. Visit the gift card page on the Lyft website.

2. Click Send a gift card.

3. Choose a gift card design on the Amazon page.

4. Select or enter the gift card amount.

5. Type in the recipient's email address and your name and message.

6. Select the number of gift cards you want to purchase and choose the delivery date. You can send a gift card instantly or up to a year from the date it was purchased.

Recipients will get an email from Amazon containing a link to the gift card code to use in the Lyft app. They can add gift card amounts to their Lyft Cash balance by going to the app, and tapping the Gift card icon found under Menu. They will need to enter the code and PIN to successfully add the gift card amount to their cash balance.

If the recipient didn't receive any email from Amazon, ask them to check their email folders including trash and spam. When the recipient still can't find the email, you can also get the gift card code in your purchase history and send it to Lyft so they can further investigate. For further questions regarding gift cards, please contact Customer Support.

What About Physical Gift Cards?

You can also buy Lyft physical gift cards at any of their partner stores including CVS, 7-Eleven, Giant Eagle, Albertsons, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Kroger, Safeway and Walmart. These stores can't mail the gift card to the recipient, so you will have to do this yourself if you prefer to send a physical gift card.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Lyft Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Lyft in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Send Someone a Lyft Gift Card? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
