I requested guests supply a *** deposit because airbnb will not help you collect and they don't offer any help. The guest broke things. I can't get airbnb to speak to me with ANY authority. The case manager just said she was working on it but that was ober a week ago and several weeks since it happened ... The case manager handing my issue hasn't mad any progress on a VERY simple issue. I can't even get a response. This is the second time I've had a guest damage the house and I'm soooooo frustrated with the response from airbnb. It's unacceptable and has made hosting very uncomfortable. I need to speak to someone who can actually answer a question and correct the issue
Airbnb gives the illusion that They are supporting both sides but they offer NOTHING im terms of ANY security. I don't like having guests anymore because i have ZERO protection!!!!!!! *I am sooooo frustrated!!!!! This is the second guests to cause damage, another stole about $***** and broke things and peed on my floor and threatened me. I spent over **hrs trying to be compensated without luck. I have done everything airbnb has asked
I want them to honor the agreement and industry standards. There was a deposit taken. Damage that the guest acknowledged and i had to take a day off of work to fix it. I asked for less than half of what it should have cost in an effort to be kind but I'm furious now
I handle issues myself and give the company consistent revenue
I've spoken to a lawyer and I'm considering canceling the rest of the reservations as I don't feel safe or confident in the company. I have been keeping a journal as well. I'm thinking of speaking with a reporter who lives down the street to discuss my interactions with the company.
