I booked an Air Canada flight to Toronto for my husband and I. We had confirmed seats ** C and D. I received notification that the plane had changed and they moved us to an exit row. I changed our seats back to ** c and D which were available. This was an economy comfort fare that was $***.** over regular economy. I received an email confirmation on the **th of January confirming my seats. When I went to check in our seats were at the back of the bus ** D and E. I called them and told them I will not check in until I get my seats back I received the run around from two very rude employees that blew me off ( and my husband) I would like to lodge a formal complaint with the Airline and the consumers advocacy group. This is fraudulent advertising you cannot say you have your choice of seat and have them confirmed only to have them taken away. I was not notified of this change ( something that is legally binding for Air Canada to do!)
