To log in to your account, enter your Verizon mobile number or user ID. Then, click Continue and enter your password. If you already have the My Verizon app installed on your phone, simply open the app and sign in.
You can find this option next to the Mobile tab in the app.
From the Me tab, simply tap Pay Bill. From there, you can cancel an existing payment arrangement or set up a new one if you wish to reschedule your payment.
Once you're on the Pay Bill page, look for your Promise to Pay message and tap Review Details. You'll then have the option to cancel the arrangement. Simply tap Cancel and follow the prompts to confirm the cancellation.
If you can't go online and wish to cancel your payment arrangement as soon as possible, simply call Verizon directly. You can cancel the arrangement through a Verizon representative. However, please note that a convenience fee may apply when you cancel a payment arrangement or set up a new one with a representative.
Since you'll be calling Verizon, you may also need to complete a verification process to confirm that you're the account holder. Only the account holder can set up or cancel a payment arrangement. Verizon may verify your account by sending you a passcode, so make sure you have your phone with you.
If you were able to cancel your payment arrangement and want to set up a new one, you can sign in to your account through the My Verizon app or website. You can also set up a new payment arrangement at a Verizon Bill Pay Kiosk. To find a store, simply enter your city, ZIP code, or state, or click Use My Location. Once you're at the store, look for a Bill Pay Kiosk and follow the instructions to set up your payment arrangement. As mentioned earlier, you may also set up a new payment arrangement through a representative, but a convenience fee may apply.
Verizon customers may be able to set up a payment arrangement before or even after their bill's due date.
Were you able to cancel your payment arrangement with Verizon? Please note that if you wish to change it, cancel the existing payment arrangement and set up a new one. Setting up a new arrangement is free as long as you do so through the app, website, or a Verizon kiosk. You can also set up a payment arrangement for free through Verizon's automated phone system. You'll only need to pay a convenience fee if a representative assists you with cancelling or setting up a new payment arrangement. Still have further questions? GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
