How Do I Cancel an Existing Transfer in My PNC Bank Account?

If you have set up a recurring transfer between your bank accounts from your PNC Bank account, you can easily stop them when you wish. You can do so online or with the mobile app. You may, if you act quickly enough, also stop a wire transfer after you have sent it. This is not guaranteed, however.

How to Cancel a Wire Transfer Sent From Your PNC Bank Account

In addition to transferring money between your own accounts, you can also wire money to an account belonging to someone else at another bank. These transfers are fast, but it is possible that, if you contact a PNC Bank representative quickly enough, you can get the transfer canceled before it is sent. This is particularly likely for international transfers, which take longer. When you talk to the representative, make sure to have all the information you used to set the wire transfer up along with you, as well as proof of ID.

Contacting PNC Bank

If you have questions about canceling a transfer, you can get them answered by a PNC Bank customer service representative. You can reach one by phone, chat or help forum.
