Calling this number is best if you're already a PNC customer, but it's not only useful for PNC customers. If you aren't a customer, you can use this number to find branches near you so that you can start an account.
When I called, I was first told that I had reached PNC voice banking, and I was asked to provide my user ID. If I didn't have a user ID, I could say that. When I did, I was next taken to a menu to confirm if I was already a PNC customer.
I said I was not, and I was taken out of voice banking and to the main menu. I was then asked why I was calling, and I said I wanted branch locations. The system told me that I could get branch locations near me by entering a zip code and letting the system return results.
I entered the first zip code, and the system told me there were no locations near that zip code. I then entered another zip code, and the system told me that I had five locations near me and could ask for branch hours by pressing 1 during the description of any branch.
I did so during the closest branch to my zip code and found that it was open Monday to Friday, but closed weekends. For the second branch, I found that on Saturdays, the branch was open 8 am to noon, while Monday through Friday maintained standard business hours.
Overall, I thought this was an easy-to-use service. I had no issues getting information and did not hit a chokepoint at any point. The system recognizes new customers might use the phone beforehand and makes that a simple process. If I were to use PNC Bank, I would absolutely use this number.

GetHuman does not provide call center services or customer support operations for PNC Bank. The two organizations are not related. GetHuman builds free tools, researches information, and shares tips and tricks from other consumers to help customers of companies like PNC Bank. That can include tools such as our GetHuman Phone, which allows you to call a company but skip the part where you wait on the line to get a live human rep, or talk to a company's customer service operation for you. GetHuman believes that this fills an important gap between fragmented support models, makes the customer care experience more uniform, and even answers questions that businesses and agencies are reluctant to answer (but shouldn't be) - making the customer experience less confusing for all. We continue to work on these tools to help customers like you (and ourselves!) navigate the messy phone menus, hold times, and confusion with customer service. As long as you keep sharing it with others, we'll keep improving it.
