You can use a wire transfer to send money to someone. Before sending a wire transfer, ensure you have the necessary information, such as the recipient's name, address and bank account number. Here are the steps to send a wire from my PNC Bank account.

1. Log In to Your PNC Bank Account

Log in to PNC online banking. Choose the Transfer Money tab. You'll see a list of recent payees. If you don't find the person you want to send a wire to, click Add a Payee. Select Next.

2. Click the Wire Transfer Option

In this step, you will see two sections: Receive Money and Send Money. Click Send Money. This will direct you to a new page where you can enter information about the recipient of your wire, including name, address, phone and account number.

3. Enter the Amount To Send

Select the Send Money button. This will open up a new window where you can enter your transaction information. You will see two tabs: Recipients and Payment Information.

Click the Payment Information tab first. This is where to enter how much money to send and who it is going to. You'll find three fields on this page. These are Amount, Payee and Notes.

Enter the money you want to send in the Amount field. If there is more than one recipient for this transaction, enter their names into their respective boxes under the Payee heading.

You can add any additional notes about this transaction by entering them into the Notes box. Once you enter the information correctly, click Continue.

4. Schedule Wire Transfer

Select whether you want to send a same-day wire or schedule a future wire transfer.

5. Review Your Transaction

After you add the necessary information, review and ensure everything looks right. If there are any mistakes, you can correct them. If not, choose Continue.

6. Enter Your Account and Routing Number

Add your account and routing number. Find the account number on your checkbook or your bank card. You can also find the routing number on your bank card. After you enter this information, click Send Wire.

7. Confirmation

After you have a wire transfer, the recipient's bank will process it. You will receive an email confirming it has sent the wire. The recipient will also get an email about it.
