How Do I Request a Refund to a Gift Card from Old Navy?

If you used your Old Navy gift card to buy something that didn't work out as you'd hoped, you need to learn how to get a refund applied to that gift card. This article will tell you what you need to know.

Old Navy's Return Policy

Return your Old Navy item within 30 days from the shipping date to get a refund. Final Sale items are not eligible for return. All returns must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. You can return items purchased any time between November 1 and December 24 as late as January 15 of the following year and still qualify for a refund.

Old Navy will issue your refund to the original form of payment, so you will get your gift card automatically refunded. You will need proof of purchase, such as the receipt or the shipping confirmation email.

How to Return an Old Navy Item by Mail

You can return any online Old Navy purchase by mail. Just follow this procedure:

  1. Go to the Old Navy Returns and Exchanges page.
  2. Enter the order ID in the text field.
  3. Click on the Next button.
  4. Follow the prompts to print out the packing slip and return shipping label.
  5. Pack up the item to be returned. Use the original package if possible.
  6. Put the packing slip in the package.
  7. Attach the shipping label to the package.
  8. Take the package to a convenient UPS location and ship it. Use the UPS locator tool to find one.

How to Return an Old Navy Item to a Store

You must return an Old Navy store purchase to an Old Navy store. You can also return online orders not marked "Return by Mail Only" to an Old Navy store. Just put the return in the package it came in and bring it to a convenient Old Navy store, along with proof of purchase. You can find nearby Old Navy stores using the Old Navy store locator tool.
