There's no denying that there are many social media sharing sites available. One drawback is that social media makes it easier for bullies to reach out to others. Luckily, Instagram is one social media platform that has ways of protecting its account holders. If someone is harassing you on Instagram, please know that you have options.
Instagram users can report any profile or post that could go against the site's community guidelines including spam, nudity, bullying or harassment. Posts or accounts that use hate speech can also be reported. Please visit Instagram's help pages for more information on the site's community guidelines. You can report the bullying profile through the app or the website when you're ready. If you have any questions, please contact Instagram support here.
The quickest and easiest way to report a user bullying you is through that person's profile. If you're on the app, you can visit that user's profile by tapping on the name or photo. Next, tap on the three dots and select Report this Profile and follow the prompts. If you're on a computer, you can follow the same steps outlined previously. You can also search for other users by tapping the search icon and entering their usernames. Another option you have in protecting your account is by blocking the cyberbully and setting your account settings to private.
Instagram also makes it easier to check the status of some support requests. Tap the account icon or your profile picture, then touch the menu button, which looks like an equal sign with three lines. Tap the Settings option and then go to Help, then Support Requests.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
