I bought my home on 08/24/18 and have been living here for 1 year and 3 months. Unfortunately, there have been ongoing issues with the house. Here is a list of the repairs I've had to address: 1. Removed a fake vent in the closet that had mold. 2. Dealt with moisture by covering a vent in the hallway with Damprid. 3. Closed a hole in the first bathroom under the sink due to mold and dampness. 4. Hired an electrician for $[redacted] to fix an open socket noted in the inspector's report. 5. Fixed a kitchen ceiling leak at my own expense after a Home Warranty visit. 6. Paid $[redacted] for tree trimming after a threat from insurance. 7. Repaired a broken flap in the chimney to address a draft issue. 8. Replaced washers in the kitchen sink due to leakage. 9. Discovered an exterior socket that doesn't work. 10. Noted the water heater is a 12-year-old commercial system. 11. Currently dealing with a leak from an outside faucet but facing challenges with old ducts under the house preventing plumbing access.

I recently received a notification from PUBLISHER'S CLEARING HOUSE, INC, stating that I am a finalist to share Seven Million Dollars, with my portion being $2,[redacted],[redacted].00. The letter instructs me to contact my agent, Mr. Peter C. Brown at 1-[redacted], to select my payment method and mentions a lump sum payout to my bank account. The letter signed by Deborah Holland, Executive Vice President, advises me not to act on the notice before consulting my CLAIMS AGENT for guidance on claiming my prize. I am curious if this is a legitimate notification or a potential scam. Thank you in advance for any insight.

On May 17, [redacted], I purchased travel insurance from Aon for an upcoming trip with Road Scholar on 09/06/20. I paid $[redacted] for the policy. Recently, I tried to cancel the insurance on November 15th due to having coverage through my credit card. However, Aon informed me that they could not provide a refund as per the policy terms. Additionally, I had bought travel protection from Travel Guard for another Road Scholar trip on Dec28, [redacted]. I canceled that policy on the same day, November 15th. The cost for this policy was $[redacted], and Travel Guard refunded me everything except $15. I could use some advice on how to proceed with the situation.

I received an email from Monster Energy Drink offering $[redacted] weekly for driving with their decal on my car. The check from Flagstar Bank for $4,[redacted] raises some red flags. Scammers are prevalent in Las Vegas, so I'm hesitant. The check shows V. Pizzo Electric's information. I wonder why a big company like Monster Energy wouldn't pay me and the decal installer directly. Can anyone confirm if this is a scam? - Nancy A.

I paid AT&T in full back in June [redacted], following the two addresses provided by an employee at the 1-[redacted] number. Despite being assured corrections would be made by the billing management department, no changes have been implemented. Consequently, I terminated my internet service but was charged $[redacted]. My service has been interrupted multiple times, and no refunds were issued for the 3 to 4 months of disrupted service. Instead of reimbursing me, AT&T is persisting with the $[redacted] charge and threatening to involve collections. I seek assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you, AJ Ball, Jr.

About three months ago, I invested $[redacted] into my [redacted] S500 Mercedes Benz for repairs. The mechanic mentioned that the car might drop when turned off due to the work, but assured me it wouldn’t affect driving. Unfortunately, a leak in the airmatic strut appeared on the left side, a problem they caused. They requested $[redacted] for a fix, citing my responsibility. After escalating to corporate, the issue was resolved at no cost. Recently, my power steering hose failed. Upon trying to purchase the part, shops suddenly couldn’t locate it once I provided the last six digits of my VIN. It seems Mercedes Benz may have restricted my VIN from business due to my complaint. This has left me unable to drive to work and face losing my home. I seek guidance on addressing this unfair treatment and attaining justice in this matter.

I wish to report my experience with Quantum Medical doing business as "No Cost Shoes." The company promised to provide therapeutic shoes covered by insurance through a four-step process: 1. Fill out an application, 2. Have a prescription faxed to your doctor, 3. Get fitted for the shoes by a certified fitter, 4. Enjoy the new shoes. I completed the application in November [redacted], insurance details were confirmed, and a prescription was sent promptly. However, since December [redacted], I have been waiting for the shoe fitting, which has been repeatedly delayed or ignored despite my persistent inquiries. As someone recovering from a stroke and with diabetes, I urgently need these therapeutic shoes. I suspect the company's practices are deceptive and possibly discriminatory against people with disabilities. I ask for your attention to this matter to ensure consumers are informed. Thank you, W.D. I am experiencing issues with Moore’s Marine LLC in Benton, LA. I purchased an outboard motor that has been problematic on five separate occasions. They agreed to replace the motor, but it has not been installed on my boat yet. I have been waiting for this replacement since November 15, [redacted], after initially dealing with them since September 9, [redacted]. It feels like they are avoiding resolving the situation. I am seeking advice on how to address this situation and finally get my boat back from them after waiting for so long.

I had a frustrating experience at Quality Tire 2 in Scottsville, Virginia. The technician sent me away multiple times to buy spacers for my rims but didn't provide the right size information. When I returned with lug nuts, he used the old ones, trying to charge me more. He became rude and unhelpful when we asked for tire balancing, stating they don't do it there. My daughter's car felt unsafe to drive after leaving the garage, with the steering wheel jerking and wheels feeling loose. Despite their mistake, they refused to fix it and were unprofessional, using inappropriate language with me. Eventually, we had to go to Walmart for help, only to find out the lug nut key was broken. The technician at Quality Tire knew about it but still let us leave in a dangerous condition. It was a stressful and disappointing situation, and their lack of accountability put my daughter's safety at risk.

I signed up for Clearway Community Solar but encountered issues with cancellation and billing. Despite requesting to cancel in May [redacted], the account was only terminated in December. I've faced challenges with obtaining a copy of the contract and receiving conflicting information from customer service representatives at both Xcel and Clearway. I made final payments, but confusion persists due to the lack of confirmation letters. Xcel is refunding a $[redacted] credit, and I'm willing to return it to Clearway. It's been a frustrating experience as a single parent dealing with harassing phone calls and unresolved billing issues. Assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

In November [redacted], I financed a dental bill for $2,[redacted].00. After insurance adjustments, the bill was $2,[redacted].23. I made monthly payments and arranged a balance transfer through Chase Bank for $1,[redacted].23, following Comenity Bank's instructions to send it to PO Box [redacted]. Despite several calls, Comenity Bank claimed they never received the check. Chase Bank confirmed in writing that Comenity Bank returned the check. However, Comenity Bank hasn't acknowledged this, keeps requesting additional information postmarked after my January letter, adds finance charges, and reports late payments to credit agencies. I requested electronic communication to track payments, but they haven't complied. This complaint aims to bring attention to their practices and prompt them to resolve the account and cease inaccurately reporting to credit agencies.

I need to address concerns regarding Frontier Communications in eastern CT. I have experienced issues with the internet service not meeting the advertised speed of 18 mbps. Despite multiple technician visits and equipment replacements, the problem persists. Additionally, I discovered an elderly couple receiving unacceptable internet speeds of only 0.11 mbps, yet still being charged. This practice is unjust and unscrupulous, especially towards those on fixed incomes. Complaints have been made with no resolution. Frontier must be held accountable for providing subpar services and exploiting vulnerable customers. It is essential to ensure that such practices are stopped to protect consumers from further harm.

Hello, I'm Ansleyene Williams. I purchased a recliner lift chair from Parentgiving for my 84-year-old mom who has mobility issues. The chair was too small for her, so the person who delivered it disassembled it and put it back in the original box. I contacted Parentgiving, and Beth said she would arrange a pickup for the return. However, I later received an email stating the chair couldn't be returned due to it being a medical supply. My mom's niece covered the chair, and my mom tried it but found it too small to sit on comfortably. I need assistance in getting a refund for the $[redacted].00 chair as initially it was mentioned that a return was possible. Despite this, Beth is now saying a refund cannot be processed.

To the Frontier Airlines Customer Service Team, I have been trying unsuccessfully for the past two weeks to reach your customer service number to cancel my flight and request a full refund due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get through your customer service line, and the website only offers credit vouchers for future travel which is not suitable for me. With my wife working as a nurse at a hospital and two young children, we cannot risk traveling at this time. I urge you to follow the example of other airlines like United and American Airlines who are offering full refunds to customers. I kindly ask you to cancel our upcoming flights to Miami and issue a full refund to my PNC Visa Debit card promptly. This money is vital for our family during this challenging time. Sincerely, Paul S. Flight Confirmation Code: K8W7GM

This Coronavirus situation has spiraled, and I require assistance with refinancing my home. Our loan from Chase got transferred to Gregory Funding, presenting us with a high 7.[redacted]% interest rate. The excessive interest rate seems to stem from the greed within American banks, living extravagant lives while many suffer. At 56 years old, having worked diligently since I was 16, contributing significantly to the economy, the current global crisis adds pressure. Seeking support from Gregory Funding for a reduced interest rate and some deferment as my husband got laid off due to the virus, leaving us in a tough spot. Urgent help is needed to ease the financial strain on my family during these challenging times. Thank you for any assistance offered.

I recently received a call from Citizens National Disability office on 3/30/20. They requested personal information like my SSI number, birthplace, DOB, and medical history, stating I may qualify for SSDI benefits due to being at high risk for health issues related to the coronavirus. After sharing this sensitive data, my friends and family are concerned it's a scam to steal my identity or access credit information. Struggling without income, I'm unsure if the agency is legitimate or fraudulent. I appreciate any advice on how to proceed and determine the authenticity of the situation. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently had service at Beyer Volkswagen in Winchester, VA. Unfortunately, my engine cover was not reinstalled, and when confronted, the service manager, Ali, denied it ever existed and was disrespectful towards me. Additionally, the service manager did not adhere to social distancing guidelines and was confrontational without wearing a mask. I have filed a complaint with Volkswagen of America and my insurance company on April 23, [redacted]. The general manager, Dan Doak, needs to be informed of this incident involving his service manager's behavior. I attempted to contact Mr. Doak on April 23, [redacted], but was informed he was not available. You can reach me at [redacted] to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Sincerely, B.T.

I would like to file a complaint against a company known as Doordash. They deliver food from various restaurants to different locations, and I am experiencing several issues with their service, such as incorrect orders, rude employees, and difficulties in communication. As I am unable to leave my home due to medical reasons, I rely on food delivery services like Doordash. I need to address these concerns promptly. I appreciate any assistance you can provide in obtaining the necessary information to file a complaint against them. Thank you.

I purchased an HP laptop from Walmart on January 22, [redacted], with a one-year warranty. In early February, I experienced issues turning on the laptop as one side of the power button was not functioning. Despite numerous calls to HP, I arranged for the laptop to be shipped back for repairs on March 13. I paid $25 for shipping via Fedex, but the box never arrived. With the COVID-19 situation, it has been challenging to reach HP, but I finally did. They are sending another shipping box, but this time, they are charging me $74.19. I have emails from them, but I couldn't respond. I am still waiting for a solution with a broken laptop that is unusable. I would like a complaint form sent to me to address this issue. My name is Janet Orick, and I reside at [redacted] Lynwood Rd, Clarkson, KY [redacted]. HP number: 1-[redacted], phone number: [redacted]. Serial number: 3TT16UA#ABA.

In September [redacted], I had shingle installation done on my home by Lowes in Hazard, KY. They were supposed to install ridge vents along with the lifetime shingles. However, in [redacted], I discovered that my entire roof's wood has rotted out due to the ridge vents being improperly installed. The vents were nailed flat to the roof, leading to no ventilation, causing the roof to sweat and decay. Now I am facing a $15,[redacted] expense to replace the entire roof and shingles. Lowes should be held accountable for the damage and repair costs. I have photographic evidence showing the damage and poorly installed ridge vents that hindered airflow.
