I updated my Xbox about three weeks to a month ago and have not been able to access program settings or anything or games

Set Xbox to factory settings. Unplug power source and network cable. ** sec later, plug power source only. Press blind button (left side) & eject button together and hold. You will hear to consecutive beeps then another set of beeps. (You should have troubleshooting) But I first got login home page. I repeated above reset. Then it took me to setup and all I had to do was add my account to the homepage.
