I just wanted food. ... Kept trying to call the driver but the call wouldn't go through. Chat support wouldn't connect either. All I could do was watch him on the map wandering aimlessly and wonder why he didn't read the instructions to find my place. They could not be any clearer.
Uber drivers seem to be a vanishing breed. They're never available near food I actually want so I get stuck with a few fast food joints nearby that I can just go to myself.*It's also much harder to get a ride as quickly as I used to.*Why are your drivers going away, Uber?
Get your customer support together! It's almost non-existent now.*Hire more drivers but be certain that they have basic reading comprehension, map navigating skills and a touch of training to use their apps properly.*Remind them to make sure they have EVERYTHING in the food orders!*Paying them better would probably help a great deal.
I've been a regular Uber customer for about * years. I was thrilled when Uber Eats started up but it was so much more expensive than Door Dash. I got frustrated with Door Dash and turned to both Uber and GrubHub which turned out to be even worse.
I've been all over the internet including Reddit to try and figure out how to make this better. All I find are other angry customers and worn out drivers.
