I rent a U-Haul storage unit, located at ** Brainard Road, Hartford, Ct. Phone: (***)***-****.**For the past two months (September **** and October ****), I have been assessed late fees for the unit, despite repeated attempts to pay through the app. The payment of $***.** (I may be off in the amount of change). I had to pay $***.** for September because of late fees the store manager said she was unable to remove because of the "computer system."**She lied then. She lied this month. I called U-Haul's *-*** number and the agent said only the manager can remove them.**Naturally, I am livid. Now, she said she will not remove them because I called her back and was angry. I did "drop the F-bomb once (completely not my style), and now she will not take my calls, nor take off the late fees.**Her attitude , demeanor, lying and the late fees are infuriating. I am, unfortunately, in a situation where these fees are beyond my limited budget right now. **I have made good faith efforts to pay online, but the account balance continually says $*. And, the system has not allowed me to pay regardless of what the balance says.**It wasn't until today that the amount owed showed up (with late fees). Obviously, I have no choice because the company has possession of my property and I have no means to get it.**Additionally, I pay bills on time (usually early) because that's how I roll.
