How GetHuman-ileveled fixed the problem
if you happened to check out as a "guest" (such as i did) it can be confusing trying to find your order considering an order number is not provided to you once you've checked out on the checkout page. to find this information simply log on to the email you used and search for the AliExpress email they should have sent you. The problem is I found that when using my email it had sent the message to a "promotions" folder (and i'm assuming sometimes a spam folder) and thus i did not get a notification. once i found the email i opened it and it asked me to set up an account using the guest email i used to place the order. once i set that up thru the link it allowed me to check my orders thru the AliExpress website. I feel this confusion could all be avoided had an order number been provided on the checkout page however once you know what you are doing with the email situation it is very easy to figure out.
