I had repeat guest reservations blocked off on the Airbnb calendar and actually had all the months blocked off from June on. Sometime in March maybe, all my calendar dates were reopened and all the direct bookings I had blocked off were erased. Last week I had one of those direct bookings request a date change and that's when we realized they were not blocked off on the Airbnb calendar anymore. I changed the dates on my paper calendar and when I went to change them on Airbnb nothing was there.**They were coming end of April so I checked May and all my direct booking were also gone. Then I checked further and saw that all future months were open so I proceeded to block them off again. **In Dec I saw the booking for Nick in A***. I was training a new assistant in Feb and she had started doing my initial inquiries by using the saved messages. She had no idea I blocked off all the months from June on and so she accepted the booking in Dec. I already had ***** - ******** blocked off for a guest who was planning on coming last Dec but cancelled due to COVID and had rebooked.**I called Nick to explain and also the other guest but neither wanted to cancel so I am currently asking around to see if I can find other options in the same property or area.**My business policy for my own property management company is.to honor the first reservation made so if nothing pans out I will have to cancel Nick.**I am hoping for Airbnb to help me in assisting him to find alternative lodging because I feel the site glitch wasn't my fault. It has happened to me before where even my linked calendar bookings from VRBO were erased. It is very hard to have to double check my paper calendar with Airbnb all the time but when I don't and a glitch happens, I end up being stuck in a bad situation.**Any assistance you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I will wait until tomorrow to hear back from other property managers to see if I can find anything but if I cannot then I will have to cancel. I feel really bad though so I'd like to see that Nick gets help finding something else, I don't want to just cancel and do nothing. **Mahalo for your understanding,*Lisa Nakagawa
