You can make standard alterations to your flight including time, destination and date as long as it is 24 hours before the allocated departure time for most Delta tickets. However, same day ticket changes are available subject to certain Delta policies.

You cannot change the flight on some tickets for example basic economy tickets after the risk free cancellation period is over. If you reservation includes multiple parties, changing your ticket will affect all parties in the reservation.

You can change a non-refundable ticket depending on the flight's destination and the difference in ticket prices. Moreover, the change is subject to a fee ranging from $200 to $500.

Domestic ticket change fees include trips to any of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and others. The change fee for domestic ticket changes is $200.

You can change a non-refundable ticket through the following process:

Additional fees do apply when changing ticket acquired through a third party. Third party ticket change fees are an additional $50 which can be waived under certain circumstances. Third parties in this case refer to other airlines, codeshare partners, traditional and online travel agencies.
