How Do You Collect Your TikTok Coins?

You can use TikTok coins to make in-app purchases and to send as gifts. There are two ways you can get more TikTok coins. One is simply to buy more, for which you will need a linked credit or debit card. You can also get them by having enough followers to produce live content and get them sent to you as gifts.

TikTok, like a lot of other social media sites, has virtual coins that you can use to purchase virtual items and gifts for other people on TikTok. If you want to get in on the fun, you need to learn how to collect TikTok coins.

Buying TikTok Coins

The easiest way to get more coins is simply to buy them. You need to have a credit or debit card linked to your account to do this. To purchase coins, follow this procedure:

  1. Open TikTok.
  2. Tap on Me to get to your profile.
  3. Tap on the three vertical dots.
  4. Go to Settings and Privacy.
  5. Tap on Balance.
  6. Tap on Reload. You will be shown options for different amounts of TikTok coins.
  7. Tap on the price button for the amount you want to buy.

There will be several options, ranging from about a dollar to about a hundred dollars.

Getting TikTok Coins as Gifts

This is the more difficult way to get coins, but it's less costly. The first thing is to get more than 1,000 followers. Once you do, TikTok will allow you to make live broadcasts. Their broadcasts are an opportunity to receive gifts from your followers, and one of the gift options they can choose is to send you coins.

To get gifts, however, you're going to need to produce the kind of high-quality live content that makes people want to give you things. Be sincere and funny or charming. Make sure you have something interesting to say. Stay positive. It would be best if you also had a good camera and microphone, as well as decent lighting.

If you collect enough coins to reach a minimum (that is subject to change), TikTok will allow you to turn the coins into real money.

Contacting TikTok

A TikTok customer service representative can help you if you have any questions. Unfortunately, you can only reach one by email because TikTok doesn't have a customer service phone line.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for TikTok Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like TikTok in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do You Collect Your TikTok Coins? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
